DESCRIPTION:The 2011 City Dip is fast approaching, this is a great opp
 ortunity to raise funds for charity.\n \nIn the past, the City of Lon
 don organised a charity swim at the Golden Lane Leisure Centre in aid 
 of the Lord Mayors Appeal. This event is held to raise the much-needed
  funds for the Lord Mayor’s chosen appeals; Coram children’s chari
 ty, and RedR which is a disaster relief charity. More information on b

  Golden Lane Leisure Centre is closed due to refurbishment until 2012,
  City Dip is going al fresco this year with an exciting new venue:\n 
 \nHampstead Heath Lido\nGordon House Road, Parliament Hill Fields\nHam
 pstead Heath, London, NW5 1LP\nOn\n8th and 9th July 2011\n \nThe Lord
  Mayor, Alderman Michael Bear, will be there to close City Dip 2011 on
  Saturday 9th July at Hampstead Heath Lido.\n \nTeam information\n \
 nAdult teams may have a maximum of 6 people and swim up to 4,000 metre
 s (142 lengths of Hampstead Heath Lido). Individuals and junior teams 
 of up to 10 children and young people may swim up to 2,500 metres (90 
 lengths of Hampstead Heath Lido).\n \n \n \nTop Fundraiser Prize\nÂ
  \nThis year we have a brilliant top prize, if you get your sponsorshi
 p in by Friday 22nd July 2011 you’ll be in with a chance of winning 
 a European boating holiday for four, kindly donated by Locaboat worth 
 £2,000. The person or team that raises the most money will be able to
  treat family or friends to a self skippered boating holiday along the
  inland waterways of Europe at the wheel of their own ‘Locaboat’ P
 énichette. This prize is valid until 31st October 2012.\n \nFor more
