SUMMARY:Free guided walks in the heart of the City
DESCRIPTION:\r\n2018 is the 35th anniversary of the City of London Gui
 de Lecturers’ Association. Since its inception the Guides have taken
  thousands upon thousands of visitors around the City sharing its secr
 ets and stories. To mark this landmark year and the unique relationshi
 p the City Guides have with the Square Mile we will be doing what we d
 o best – leading walks.  These will be our anniversary gift to the 
 City.\r\n \r\n35 for 35 will include three, free, short routes, each
  one starting and finishing in the heart of the City, Guildhall Yard.\
 r\nEach walk will\r\n\r\ntake no more than 35 minutes\r\nbe led by a p
 rofessional City Guide \r\nbe free of charge\r\nuncover secrets and s
 urprises of the streets immediately surrounding Guildhall\r\nbe on a f
 irst come first served basis, no booking required.\r\n\r\n\r\nDate:  
 Friday, August 17th\r\nTime:  11.30am – 2.00pm\r\nFrequency:  Walk
 s will set off every half hour with the final walks leaving at 2.00pm.
 \r\nMeeting Point: Guildhall Yard\r\n \r\nA wealth of history, charac
 ters, architecture, stories and more - all in 35 minutes. We welcome e
 veryone who has 35 minutes to spare on August 17th.\r\n \r\nAbout us\
 r\nThe CLGLA or “City Guides” are the Official Guides to the City 
 of London. All Guides are fully trained, accredited by the Institute o
 f Tourist Guiding and insured and develop and lead walks in the City a
 nd lecture on City related topics. The City Guides offer regular walks
  and tours which run almost every day of the year from the City Inform
 ation Centre. There is a separate programme that includes Leadenhall M
 arket, Smithfield Market, Billingsgate Roman Bath House, Women Work an
 d Power, Guildhall Art Gallery and more and if you require a bespoke w
