Burglary attempt - crescent house
A man tried to break into my flat last night around 2am. I live in crescent house, second floor. Nothing bad happened in the end, I called the police.
Did something similar happen to anyone last night? He was a white male, average build, wearing dark clothes and a backpack, I saw him through the peephole.
Furthermore, is there a WhatsApp group for the Golden lane estate where such things can be communicated more synchronously?

Hello. I also live in Crescent House on the top floor. I am sorry to hear what happened to you. I did not experience any disturbance myself, but it is worrying, as I don't think our main doors are always secure. I don't know if the man was drunk and just tried a random break in, or what the circumstances were, but I hope this is sorted out as its a scary experience.
