John is home already and social services were there when we visited on Monday. Maria is discharging herself from hospital because it is John's birthday tomorrow (Wednesday). Many of us are posting WELCOME HOME and BIRTHDAY cards, so feel free to do likewise and pass on the message on to other neighbours.
