Today scaffolding is going up on Golden Lane outside SCH between Bayer lifts and Basterfield. We asked one of the scaffolders what it was for and was told it was works to strip the roof and replace it. I just wanted to say thank you to all the volunteers who worked so hard to make Saturday's Community Picnic with Music happen. Writing bids for money , and Risk Assessments, finding musicians, designing, printing and delivering the poster, and the postcards to every flat. Putting up bunting, erecting gazebos, bringing food to share, running the community cafe, and a big thanks to the two ladies who provided ice cream in cones.
