This comprehensive workshop, run by Smart Film Lab, teaches you how to shoot, direct and edit a 90-second documentary film using accessibility of smartphones and filmmaking apps. The content focuses on core filmmaking skills and is taught through tailored worksheets, exercises, and screenings that centre on: idea development, storytelling skills, plot structure, documentary directing and interviewing, voiceover narration, shot types and functions, practical camerawork and sound recording skills , shooting for the edit, filmmaking apps, checklists, and more.
