Community Projects

Christmas Craft Market

This year's market raised an amazing £400 - thanks to the tombola, pop up cafe and donations from stall holders. A fantastic start to fundraising efforts for the Community Centre.

Community Centre

The refurbishment of the community centre is underway and we hope to see it ready for use in April 2018. The building will be home to a range of community activities and the City of London Community Education Centre (COLCEC).

Click here for information about the consultation process, steering committee and general progress.

Knit and Natter

Back by popular demand, Golden Lane's knit and natter group meet up once a month to have a chat and knit tiny little hats for the neonatal unit at UCH. Everyone is welcome to drop in, there is always friendly advice on hand for beginners. If you have spare wool and needles bring them along otherwise there are spares. Feel free to bring your own projects.
Watch the events board for details of the next meeting.

Golden Baggers

Golden Lane's award winning community food growing project contributes to the sense of wellbeing and quality of life on the estate.

There is currently a waiting list for a box but anyone can join as a Friend and come along to regular social events including open days, market days, group outings and Social Sundays.
