Nice to see our very own M.P. [Mark Field] voted against removing the pay cap on Nurses, Firefighters, Paramedics and other key workers - even though he's 'trousered' an 11.4% pay increase from the hard-pressed taxpayer for himself since 2015.......

Not bad for an M.P. who doesn't even bother to run surgeries and whose website arrogantly invites you to contact his staff so THEY will decide if he will see you.......

Meanwhile, I hear that in Birmingham, all high-rise council tenants with Labour M.P.s have received a letter from their M.P. outlining how they're working with their councillors on the high-rise fire risk crisis and how to contact them with any concerns.

But then Birmingham City Council (like many others) is taking it seriously of course - central fire alarms were fitted nearly a decade ago, they're committed to sprinklers in every block and overcoming any problems with doing it etc..

[Our very own Housing Officers have prepared an Emergency Report for Monday's Meeting (2.00pm Monday 3rd July) that's already lining up the excuses for why things CAN'T be done - Listed Status (that pitiful excuse for so many failures in terms of repairs and maintenance at GLE) has already reared it's ugly head by Paragraph 13 !]

Had your letter from Mark yet then everyone in Great Arthur?
