Hello everyone. I am writing to propose the following for the opening and closing of the Basterfield Lawn gate for on weekends:

I propose that the gate is opened by our duty cleaning staff on Saturday and Sunday. On the weekends when Barrie and Ian are on duty, they will close the gate at 8pm. On the other weekends when we don't have a Resident Estate Officer on duty, I would like to propose that a few residents have keys and can close the gates at 8pm on the weekend nights.

For those who are interested in this idea, I will work out a rota with you so that each person will be responsible for one weekend per month/ six weeks.

As the two REOs we have do not work every weekend, this is the best way that I can think of to ensure that the gates are closed.

I would like to try this out starting this weekend, as it is looking like it will be an absolutely gorgeous weekend.

I would really appreciate your help with this so that residents can enjoy the lawn on weekends as well as the weekdays.
