I attended today`s COL Residents meeting at the Guildhall.   I was pleased to see that an image of Great Arthur House appeared on the opening screen shot.................a nice touch!  No points raised specific to GL, but interesting things such as crime down 50% in the last ten years, COLP average response time is 3 minutes, promoted events up from approx. 17,000 to nearly 37,000 in one year, 20 MPH speed limit favoured, 100 complaints about licensed premises in 2012, 290 licensed premises are able to sell alcohol after midnight, minimum wage of £8-50 per hour for Barbican cleaners favoured, plain clothes Police Officers do mingle in some licensed premises (perhaps they should look into the awful Shakespeare Pub that we have to put up with!!!)  Finally, the City has approx. 11,000 residents (which I did not know).
