A new community SMS texting system went live for the City of London on Monday 12th April. It will run for 3 months and at the end of the project we will measure if people feel more confident in the City of London Police.

It will be in addition to the Community email that we send out every two weeks.  The only difference is that these very short messages will go directly to people's phones when we have good things to say about what we are doing. 

We are hoping to get at least a 1,000 people (residents/workers) signed up to the system.  Please feel free to refer any resident/worker (must have a City postcode) to www.vocal.co.uk/colp and they can sign up. Alternatively they can phone 0800 035 0081
