Please can anyone recommend a good piano teacher for an adult beginner? Empathy and an ability to communicate would be more important than just pianistic excellence.
Thanks

Permalink Reply by Belhr on January 12, 2013 at 11:02 I don't have a specific recommendation, but I have seen flyers for piano teachers in Fix coffee on Whitecross St. They are students from Guildhall, I think, so you could also always try going along to their reception to see if they have a list of teachers?

I had already emailed the Guildhall and have since received replies from several students which I can follow up. I posted on the Estate web site in the hope of getting a personal recommendation for someone, as it will be difficult to pick the best teacher from a CV.

PS. My neighbours shouldn't worry about the noise from practising. I have an electronic piano with headphones.
