The Auction of Promises is Prior Weston School and Children's Centre's big annual fundraiser.

Since its introduction in 1997 this unique event – The Auction of Promises – has raised thousands of pounds, enabling hundreds of Prior Weston pupils to enjoy enriching school journeys and wonderful extra-curriculum experiences. Over the last couple of years; we collectively raised over £18,000 for our children!

This is how the auction works: all the ‘Promises’ are donated in advance by parents, teachers, children, neighbours, grandparents and local businesses. Some are objects, some are promises of things to come. Then, on the big night (this year it will be on 11 May), they are auctioned off to the highest bidder.

Over the years we have been lucky to receive a wide variety of promises, from artwork donated by local artists, to theatre tickets, restaurant vouchers, free haircuts and even someone offering to walk a dog!

As ever, we are extremely grateful for the support of our local community. We do hope that you can provide a “promise” for our event, no matter how large or small, be it a physical object or a service.

Please submit your promise here by 23 March 2018.
