The City of London Police Safer City Wards team are piloting an initiative introducing the Immobilise UK property register to City North, South and West area residents. The largest free register of personal property within the UK, used by Police forces to identify both found and recovered property, and returning it to the rightful owners.

North Area

  • Golden Lane estates office
  • Saturday 27th November 2010 10am - 2pm

With the Immobilise database you can register all kinds of personal items such as mobile phones, laptops, televisions, DVD/VHS players and any other electrical device with a serial number. To use the Immobilise system you will need access to the Internet and an email account.

At the events Officers will assist in setting up an Immobilise account for you, and offer additional support with inputting your initial items for registration on the Immobilise register. Once your account is activated you will be able to access it from home, and add or remove articles to ensure that your personal information is kept completely up to date.

The events will also be an opportunity to learn more about crime reduction on a range of issues, and also raise any additional ongoing concerns City west area residents have within their area.

Should the initiative prove successful further events will also be held in the North, South and East areas of the City. If you have any questions regarding the event please e-mail Police Sergeant Christine Curtis at community@cityoflondon.police.uk.
