Has anyone else been experiencing problems with reception for the ITV and C4, More 4, E4, etc. channels since New Year?

a couple of websites that may be of interest, haven't read the whole thing, 4g network interference.

Shouldn't CoL be contacting the at800 people before the MDTV lot?

For a start it can hardly be likely that more than several residents across different blocks, have all developed reception problems around the same time, due to loose cables in their flats.... More likely is the problem being caused by outside interference, whether that is the Estate aerial, or the 4G signal.

That some people are not being affected could easily be that they are better positioned geographically, or that their individual sets have a better reception ability, or that they have satelitte or cable...

Channel 4 is breaking up.  23:24

Hi Maria

I know it was totally bizarre.  If a TV engineer is going around the Estate today checking on people's televisions - I won't be around.  I can't take constant time off work because the Estate Office....don't want to take full responsibility for the problem.

Take care

Kathy

Guess he must be working on the system this morning, 10:35am, signal now reduced to  5% - 10%, with high bit error level, no winter Olympics today, and I suppose it was wishful thinking if I thought I was going to record Akira Kurosawa's "Sanjuro".

Hi Nathan

Bad luck - maybe you will see it this evening on the "repeats" and you can record it then.  Thanks for the updates.

Hi Maria

Do you know if the MDTV engineer went to anyone's flat yesterday to look at their TV's?  I found a card from them pushed through my door at 16:08 when I got back from work.  I'm supposed to contact them urgently to arrange another visit to my premises.  I'm interested to hear from anyone else who they visited.

Thanks

Kathy

My neighbour gave up waiting and went out at 15:30, gave his number and address to the office, then received a card through the door ,"Our technician called earlier today at 16:05, no phone call etc.

I received my  filter from "at800" to filter the signal interference for the new G4 network just now and have fitted it, can feel electricity flowing through the tv aerial cable what ever the engineer has done with it apart from reducing the signal strength.

Hi Nathan

Thanks for letting me know.  Did you just have to call at800 to get them to send you a filter?  Is it free?  Is it easy to install?  By the way - I didn't get a phone call either.  Let me know if the filter is worth getting and if there is a considerable improvement in the quality of your viewing.

Thanks

Kathy

I rang them yesterday, and received it today, and its free, the number and  link is on my posts yesterday, its simple to fit, I will monitor it see if the picture is working now. Ring them its free, its just a small filter same size as a splitter.

it fits through your letter box

this is the number and link:-

Haven't watched the TV much today, but what I have watched has been interference free with the G4 filter fitted to the aerial cable, heres a photo of the filter its very small.
