Whether you’ve danced all your life or are a complete beginner, this performance commissioned and presented by the Barbican could be for you!

MovE17 is looking for people who live and work in the Barbican area to perform iconic dance work, Rosas danst Rosas by Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker (as referenced in Beyoncé’s Countdown video) at a special event taking place at the Barbican on 17 & 18 March 2018. This will be your chance to learn a new skill, meet local residents and do something fun and creative whilst keeping fit. This opportunity is free for men, women and children of all ages and abilities (from 10 years to 110 years!).

Rehearsals:

Participants need to be available to perform on 17 & 18 March and attend at least 5 of the following rehearsals:

Thursdays 6.30-8pm running weekly from 8 February to 15 March, plus Friday 16 March (a.m) (NB 8 February is a free taster session)

Rehearsal venue is tbc but will be located in the Barbican area

For more information and to register please e-mail Clare Farrow at MovE17:

Clarefarrrow2@gmail.com

Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis
