Having fought like cats to stop the extension of the comment period the planners at the City of London and Islington seem to have extended the period for comments right through till next Monday 19th. If you were too busy last week cowering from Hurricane Irma on your Caribbean holiday; you know - now is your chance ;)

Check the latest postings on our Open Golden Lane blog. Did you know the proposals are going to obstruct more than the permitted light to over 122 windows? Many are going to receive less than half the daylight they currently enjoy.

And here are some of the planning policies that our new neighbour will be complying with. Not.

To where should one now post comments? Martha

Hi Martha,

The link for posting to islington is here

The link for posting to the City is here

You can post the same comments to both. Try and keep them focussed around planning issues such as loss of light, obstructing views, over-development, no public open space, excessive height etc.

If you need any help - get in touch,

Charles
