Someone tried to steal my bike for the Bayer House/Stanley Cohen House basement bike store. They didn't succeed, but did so much damage that the bike's a write-off. It happened sometime the previous week (I was away and so can't time it more precisely). This demonstrates, yet again, why unlocked bike stores are not fit for purpose. The most obvious solution is to protect them via the entryphone fob system.
