It's about development in Liverpool but it speaks more generally to proposals around creating "high-density bed banks for high-churn residents" and the potential impact on local communities.
Given previously voiced concerns on here and elsewhere about the future of the YMCA building, it makes thoughtful reading.
As an ex-student and ex-YMCA resident (back in the stone age) I'm absolutely a supporter of affordable housing, but high density living needs considerate planning and management, particularly if it's high-churn too. I hope the Corporation listens carefully to all residents' concerns.
