FYI I read this .....

It appears there are three shortlisted options on the table:

* backpacker hostel - high density, low cost accomodation
* 'luxury hostel' - from the developers of the Hoxton Hotel
* private residential conversion

The formal decision process plays out in the next couple of months ...

The BA, RCC, Golden Lane and local Aldermen and councillors are all aware to try and ensure that the views of residents in this part of the Estate inform any decision made.

As Hse Grp Chair, if anyone wants further info now or wishes to comment, do pls contact me and I'll be happy to fill in details via B Talk pm, e-mail or a call ... alternatively, any of the other groups noted above will also, I'm sure, be happy to help.

For info, the Bunyan Hse Grp AGM is likely to be the first week of Feb and this will be a key discussion point.
