Hello folks,

My primary train of thought at present is how best to develope the use of the community centre for the best use of the residents of this estate. In the relatively short time that I have been here it has struck me that there is a wealth of knowledge and experience held within this community. It seems to me that there are a great deal of untapped resorces, that if organised with commitment could develope this estate into something rather extraordinary!
(About me) Apart from my 30 years working in social housing, I have also spent many years working as a musician primarily in duo's supporting singers/sax players and with other guitarists and personally would welcome the opportunity to share knowledge and understanding with all that are interested. It seems to me that at present there is a great inbalance in society generallly that needs to be redressed.
Sport is fine but it is not the be all and end all! it is all about perspective you see. Try to imagine somone who has never heard live music or seen actors perform, or for that matter never had the chance to breathe awareness. Could you make someone aware of the the beauty of structure within a building? Could you put your understanding into laymens terms? A well balanced life should be the objective of any one living on this earth today! Ignorance! ignorance comes from a lack of understanding/experience/knowledge - Can this be rectified???
Anyway, maybe I am thinking big but what the hell?? Every effort to increase awareness and intelligence is fine by me!

(My claims to fame - for what it is worth!!!)

1. I once recorded in studio 1 at Abbey road studios for a jazz compilation called ''Bachology'' it died in the uk but apparently is real big in the far east! (Royalties - none)

2. I once did a gig in Hackney with the great drummer Winston Clifford who worked with John Coltrane in New York - That's good enough for me!!!!
