Wrongful accusation of 'Vandalism'

Many of us in Crescent House received a letter from the Estate Office, accusing someone of vandalism, by placing a few stones into the freshly painted bitumen, as it was soft due to the hot weather, and asking for information to identify the 'vandal'.  Please see below my response.  To date I have received no answer.  What disgusts all those I have spoken to is why is the Estate Office spending a lot of money on sending coloured photos of a few stones to residents, and why are Estate staff…See More

A Big Thank You to City of London Police

HelloI would like to say a very big thank you to the City of London Police for all their kindness and support when I had a major 'meltdown' a couple of weeks ago, on 2 occasions, when they accompanied me to hospital.  This is particularly to PC's Christine and Guy, and their colleagues.  And, also I am so grateful to PC Paul (Jock) and his colleagues for looking after my Yorkie, Lulu, when I was in hospital for about a week.  She now thinks she is a police dog!   Thank you to all of you.  I am…See More

Hi Maria,  Sorry my message today was a bit late to make a proper arrangement.  Sue is about this afternoon, or if you'd like to get in touch with her to arrange a convenient time her number is 0780 325 9657.  Hope to see you on our next Sunday Social on 12 May from about 11 until 2pm.  Anna

Are you free at 2pm?  Sorry it's short notice, was trying to coordinate with Sue.  We could meet you at the allotments if you're free.  Thanks Anna

Hi Maria.  I will need to coordinate with Sue who is allocating the bags.  We have also introduced a membership subscription of £20 per year to cover new soil, equipment, insurance etc.  Are you free at all over the weekend? Maybe we could meet on the allotments and we can introduce you to your bag! Saturday would probably be better for me, but I'll check with Sue. Anna

We now have a growing bag available on the allotments and wondered if you still wanted to take one?  Please could you get in touch with me or Sue Pearson via this website?  If we don't hear from you by Wednesday 8 May (our next meeting) we'll assume you are no longer interested.  Many thanks  Anna Parkinson
