Last night someone set off fireworks in this area, which were not surpervised by anyone.  I also guess that those responsible did not have permission for their 'display'.  This is irresponsible, and could have been dangerous, especially if a child had run up to it, as no one was around.  Also, the sudden noise most likely scared babies and pets.  The letting off of fireworks should be properly organised anyway, in areas that are safe and cause the least disruption.
