Seems to me that it would be a simple and cheap way to improve security by just adding a handle on the inside of the opening door.

This would mean that rather than let it close by itself (which doesn't always work), one could ensure the door is actually closed with a gentle tug on the handle until it clicks.

Might apply to other blocks as well.

That is a great idea. The door on Stanley Cohen often doesn't shut properly because there is nothing to help close it. 

Have just emailed Laurence Jones with my suggestion so let's hope something happens.

 

The Corporation don't do simple!
