On a personal point of view I would like to say that I don't think it is necessary to revise the Estate Office opening hours, simply because they are looking for a replacement to Bryony, for the following reasons.

On many occasions I can recall the Office being short of one member of staff, sometimes for long periods, one time being for 18 months, due to the long term illness of an Estate Officer, and never was the Estate Office closed during the busiest periods because of that.  Estate Office staff also have periods of leave and sickness, and the Office has never had a reduced opening hours for those reasons either.

Also, why was a replacement for Bryony not been appointed earlier?  We all recall not so long ago when the Estate Office decided to close at similar times, claiming that not 'many people' visited at that time!  As we all know, this was a very unpopular decision, which had to be reverted.

I do not agree that closing the Estate Office for 2 and a half hours per day will have little or no impact on the service, as this was proved to be not the case.  We all pay a lot of service charges, yet are having a reduced service, although it is claimed to be temporary.  How temporary may I ask?
